Founded in 2020 with a simple but bold idea: tacos made the Italian way.

The concept was inspired by a lifelong passion for food that began in Naples, Italy — where cooking is rooted in tradition, family recipes, and respect for quality ingredients. After years working in restaurants across Italy and New York, including time in some of Long Island’s most respected kitchens, the vision for Tony’s Tacos took shape: combine Italian culinary heritage with the energy and flavor of street tacos to create something entirely new.

When the first location opened in Floral Park, the menu surprised people. These weren’t traditional tacos — they were layered with Italian flavors, house-made recipes, and unexpected combinations. At first, some customers didn’t know what to expect. But once they tried them, they came back. Word spread quickly, and Tony’s Tacos became a local favorite.
